One of the larger Home Depot stores in the area, that being said, it is usually always busy. Would give it 5 stars, except for the long check out lines, they have multiple registers but usually only have 1 or 2 registers open. There are self checkout kiosks but they are not usable for many of the items home depot sells. Overall, great store except for the long lines, they should have more registers open especially during peak hours.
Today I visited the Home Depot in Hamilton in pursuit of purchasing spray paint to finish a project I was delighted that they had the exact can I needed in stock. I also was in need of Slug and snail repellent I was not blown away by their selection I believe they could have had more to offer but I will see what I purchased if it actually works. I also was in the need of deer and small animal repellent as the new home I have recently purchased has a family of deer and foxes right by the side of my house in the woods I see them almost every night. The repellent that they had only said dear only or deer and rabbit so I didn't know what that also assist with repelling the foxes. Instead of purchasing the deer and small animal repellent I settled for some good ole bug repellent because we are suffering from tons of different bugs at the front door so I will see how this works other than that staff were very helpful they all are very happy to help that's always a good thing when you're in a store and you don't know where anything is.
We have been at Home Depot very often recently since buying our house. The staff is very helpful and is available from the minute I walk through the doors. The staff that works in the paint department is extremely helpful and knowledgeable with any questions I have.
Good for regularly needed hardware and building supplies. Not so good for specialty items.
